I doubt very much if any substantial relationships exist between these two countries the answer to the second part of your question is, at this time unanswerable each will have their own agenda, and move- ment in the ball park will change, those agendas repeatedly.
Iran and Syria arm, support, fund Hizballah and Hamas, shouldn't be any relations with the Syrian dictatorship.
